With the National Cereals Day around the corner, Pure Roots is going all out to donate boxes of Kellogg's cereal to the Salvation Army, matching every purchase made  with one box of cereal. While the D-Day is on the 7th, Pure Roots will extend their campaign to the 9th of March.  Pure Roots has four dispensary outlets: Centerline, Lansing, Ann Arbor, and Battle Creek.

Why is Pure Roots donating Kellogs cereal?

Pure Roots recently launched their fourth dispensary outlet in Battle Creek. Upon doing sp, Pure Roots learnt of the impact that the Kellogs company had made on the local community in Battle Creek.

“Opening our newest dispensary location on 5805 Beckley Rd Battle Creek , we engaged with our customers and team members and learned of the historical impact that Kellogg Cereal Company made in the city of Battle Creek,” said Reni George.

Kellogs is a world renown cereals brand that was started in Battle Creek, Michigan. From their website, Kellogs is committed to alleviating hunger and promoting climate resiliency. Since inception, Kellogs has made every effort to better the social and economic wellbeing of residents of Battle Creek, so much so that the city has now earned itself the moniker “Cereal City.”

“This donation supports a company that makes a big economic impact in Battle Creek, and offers support to the economically challenged families in our community.  We hope to challenge our community of cannabis users, retailers, wholesalers to donate more to great causes!”  Reni added.

This is an out-of-the-box  but impactful gesture that will go a long way in solidifying the camaraderie and  trust between Pure Roots and the Battle Creek community.
