As the hemp market continues to mature, few brands are navigating its rapid evolution with the confidence and infrastructure of Muha Meds Hemp. Backed by deep roots in the regulated cannabis space, the company has built its reputation on quality, transparency, and technical innovation, bringing familiar genetics, emerging cannabinoids, and proprietary extraction methods to a growing national audience. We sat down with the Muha Meds Co-Founder Muhammad “Muha” Garawi to talk about how customer feedback, ethical operations, and forward-thinking technology shape their products today and where they see the industry heading next.

Muha Meds Hemp offers a diverse range of products, from Melted Diamonds to Live Resin and THC-A. What criteria guide your selection process for these blends and strains?

For us, it always comes back to quality. We’re a vertically integrated company and we start with having the best possible hardware. After that, it’s about making sure that there’s something for everyone. Some consumers really value Live Resin or solventless products, and we want to make sure they’re thought of in our hemp line along with more budget conscious consumers.

People tend to be loyal to their strains, so we try to make sure we have those genetics but with a fresh twist. We want to put our stamp on classics, so we regularly launch strains like Purple Champagne or Jedi Kush.

How do customer preferences and feedback influence your product development and strain offerings?

Community feedback is huge for us, and we can tell pretty quickly if something is connecting and adjust from there. It was always huge for us to be able to deliver quality at a fair price point, so that’s helped for Muha Meds to connect in an authentic way. There’s still a shocking amount of products that don’t function correctly or have stale pre-rolls, and we’ve worked hard to never have that problem. After that, creating something for everyone that reflects our values and growing as tastes change has helped us since launching.

Your website mentions the use of proprietary technology to remove unwanted compounds like wax, chlorophyll, and trace THC. Can you elaborate on this and how it ensures a high-quality full-spectrum CBD oil?

Coming from the regulated cannabis market and being vertically integrated, we’ve baked into our production a sophisticated process that ensures safety every step of the way. We third party test our products as well but are proud to have never had a recall in our years of production.

What are some of the challenges you’ve faced with that refining tech (e.g., preserving terpenes, flavor, full spectrum effect), and how have you overcome them?

If an existing product isn’t working, or if it’s just not delivering the results you need at scale, we’ve never been afraid to invest in working with engineers to create proprietary equipment. That willingness to develop our own tools has helped us grow quickly in the hemp space in addition to being able to white label for other brands.

With the cannabis industry rapidly evolving, in what other ways does Muha Meds Hemp stay at the forefront of extraction and refinement technologies?

We’ve learned a lot for production and trends from our cannabis line, but for hemp we keep a lookout for emerging cannabinoid trends. A few years ago everything was just Delta-8, which is still important but the market has evolved to include Delta-9, HHC and even combining cannabinoids like CBC or CBG.

Muha Meds is described as “ethically operated” and setting new industry standards. What does ethical operation mean to Muha Meds Hemp, and how is it reflected in your business practices?

Safety is first and foremost. We survived “Vapegate” in 2008 by being one of the first brands to put testing results on our packaging via QR codes. We’ve always operated with transparency for our consumers.

Behind the scenes, it’s important for us to provide opportunities to our team and that’s been a huge key to our overall success. They’re motivated and do amazing things with the tools they have. We’re very proud to have a diverse crew that you might not expect in a normal executive team.

Given the varying legal status of cannabis products across regions, how does Muha Meds Hemp ensure compliance and accessibility for consumers in different markets?

We have an in-house legal team that makes sure we’re doing things the right way, and we have always made safety a top priority. We’ve really learned from being a cannabis operator that you can’t get anything done if you’re not creating safe, compliant products.

Are there any new technologies or product lines on the horizon for Muha Meds Hemp that you’re particularly excited about?

We’re pretty excited to take a recent collab we did with Cookies in Michigan to become available nationally via our hemp line. It’s a cookie shaped vape with a bite out of it that shows how much product is left. It’s fun but delivers the same quality vape product Muha Meds is known for along with the strain genetics that made Cookies iconic.

What are the biggest challenges Muha Meds Hemp faces in the current cannabis market, and how are you addressing them?

The next steps with the hemp bill are cloudy, but we’re optimistic that as cannabis only gains more widespread acceptance that there is a lane where hemp products will exist. Our legal team and R&D department make sure we know what’s coming so we can be ahead of any changes.

Where do you see Muha Meds Hemp in the next five years, and what role do you hope to play in the broader cannabis industry?

Everything hinges on upcoming policy shifts. If there aren’t any major moves, then we hope to integrate the line into other wellness trends. We believe that cannabis and hemp are great for recreation, but also that it’s a plant medicine. Expanding there and further democratizing wellness is exciting.
