Rubicon Organics Debuts 1964 Full Spectrum Vapes in the U.K.

Rubicon Organics Inc. announced the launch of its 1964 Supply Co. full spectrum vapes in the United Kingdom on September 18, 2026, extending the brand’s U.K. medical cannabis portfolio beyond flower through the company’s distribution partnership with 4C LABS.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company, which trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol ROMJ and on the OTCQX market under ROMJF, described itself in the news release as Canada’s leading premium licensed producer focused on cultivating and selling premium and super-premium cannabis products.

“The response to 1964 in the U.K. has demonstrated that there is growing demand for premium medical cannabis products in international markets,” said Margaret Brodie, chief executive officer of Rubicon Organics. “With patient numbers in the U.K. expected to grow 40% this year, and vape offerings increasingly popular, the launch of 1964 full spectrum vapes builds on the success of the brand in the U.K. and further strengthens our position in a rapidly expanding market.”

The release footnotes the 40% patient-growth projection to Prohibition Partners’ UK Medical Cannabis Market Update 2026, dated June 2026.

1964 first entered the U.K. market in April 2026 with its Blue Dream and Stinky Pinky flower strains. The company has since expanded the brand’s U.K. flower offerings to include its Apples and Bananas flower, and it framed the full spectrum vape launch as the next step in developing the 1964 portfolio for the U.K. medical cannabis market. By extending its premium genetics into vape formats, the company said, 1964 provides patients with additional consumption options beyond flower while maintaining the quality, consistency and cultivar-driven experience associated with the brand.

Rubicon describes 1964 as one of its flagship brands and one of Canada’s leading premium cannabis brands, and states that it has won numerous awards, including Brand of the Year for the last two years at the KIND Awards. According to the company, the brand is inspired by classic legacy genetics and designed to deliver genuine, high-quality cannabis with a focus on consistency and trust.

U.K. Entry Through 4C LABS

Rubicon first brought 1964 to the U.K. medical cannabis market through an April 12, 2026 announcement that established the first international route-to-market for the brand’s medical cannabis products under the 4C LABS partnership. The company said the partnership built on successful wholesale exports in 2025 and expanded the total addressable market for what it called Canada’s top premium brand.

Under the partnership, 4C LABS supports U.K. patient access to 1964 Supply Co. medical cannabis products through its network of cannabis clinics and regulated distributors, according to the April announcement. The initial product offering was to include a select range of formats, including organically grown flower, vapes and extracts, starting with a curated portfolio and expanding over the following months. The company said the collaboration was intended to provide patients and healthcare providers with access to consistent, premium-quality medical cannabis.

In the April announcement, Brodie called the U.K. a rapidly growing medical cannabis market where quality and consistency truly matter, and said the partnership supported Rubicon’s strategy to grow the total addressable market for its premium products by leveraging the power of its brands. She said the company’s multi-year investment in brand building and cultivation excellence would resonate with U.K. patients, and that additional capacity being produced at its Cascadia facility would allow it to scale production efficiently while maintaining the quality its brands are known for.

The April release also stated the brand’s ambition to expand beyond Canada and serve medical patients worldwide while creating incremental profitability and long-term value for Rubicon Organics.

1964 Vapes First Launched in Canada in 2024

Rubicon unveiled 1964 Supply Co. Full Spectrum Extracts (FSE) resin 510 vapes for the Canadian market in a May 13, 2024 company announcement, expanding the brand’s portfolio into the vape category.

Blue Dream and Comatose were the first two vape cultivars, which the company said were selected for their sought-after aromas and renowned effects. The company said its team worked to ensure the chosen extraction method would preserve the natural essence of the cultivars and deliver a true-to-flower experience. Each vape was offered in premium 510 hardware tested to meet the company’s quality standards, with availability beginning in British Columbia in the week of the announcement and Alberta and Ontario to follow in early June 2024.

“By utilizing our own premium flower, we can ensure that every 1964 Supply Co. vape maintains the exceptional quality and consistency that our consumers have come to expect from our brand,” Melanie Ramsey, the company’s chief commercial officer at the time, said in the 2024 announcement.

The company said at the time that the vapes were designed to attract legacy consumers into the legal market, and that the launch was intended to capture market share in the fast-growing premium Canadian cannabis vape segment while recruiting new consumers.
