LOT420 Secures EU-GMP Status With Cantourage As Sponsor

Cantourage Group SE (HIGH.DE ) announced on October 29, 2026 that Canadian craft cannabis producer LOT420 has received EU-GMP certification. The Frankfurt-listed medical cannabis company said it supported the certification process as sponsor and will benefit from exclusive access to LOT420’s products in Europe for the coming years.
The two companies are deepening their partnership following the certification. In its announcement, Cantourage listed shorter delivery times and fresher products among the expected effects, saying LOT420’s cannabis flowers will reach European pharmacies even faster in the future. The company said the certification of another established premium producer strengthens its access to high-demand products and further consolidates its position in the European market, and it described LOT420 as among the most sought-after suppliers in the European medical cannabis market.
LOT420 is based southeast of Montreal in Quebec and specializes in high-quality craft cannabis, focusing on small-batch cultivation of non-irradiated cannabis flowers and cultivation techniques refined over many years. Cantourage first introduced LOT420’s products to the European market in 2023 and said the producer has since established itself as one of the most respected brands in the medical cannabis sector. The announcement identifies Cantourage under ISIN DE000A3DSV01.
LOT420’s Presence in Germany
Cantourage’s grower profile of LOT420 states that the producer has been licensed since 2020 and has been a Cantourage cultivation partner since 2023, with a home-market focus on medical and recreational cannabis. The profile lists Gelato33, Orange Cake, Apples&Bananas, Atomic Apple, Melonade and Lemonatti as the LOT420 strains currently on the German market.
The profile traces LOT420’s origins to five high school friends, identified as JR, Drag, Gael, Xavier and Vince, who obtained medical licences in 2009 and began working in their first shop with the stated goal of producing top-shelf medicine. It describes the team’s gradual expansion of its genetic library and states that LOT420’s products are now sold in five countries. LOT420 describes its growers as bringing individual expertise to each phase of cultivation, with proven methods optimised over the years.
Certification Strategy and Supply Chain
Cantourage said LOT420’s EU-GMP certification creates additional opportunities for importing dried cannabis flowers from Canada and that LOT420’s premium flowers will be able to reach European pharmacies even faster after harvest. Shifting processing steps to EU-GMP-certified cultivation partners enables a more efficient cost structure, additional capacity and reduced operational risks, according to the company, which said it is further expanding its position as a strategic partner for international premium producers seeking access to the European market.
“Together with us, LOT420 has become another long-standing partner to successfully achieve EU-GMP certification. The strong demand for LOT420’s products demonstrates just how important access to high-quality brands and products is to our market position. At the same time, by supporting our partners in obtaining certification, we are laying the foundation for more efficient supply chains, regulatory stability and further growth. This is another clear validation of our business model of enabling international cannabis producers to enter the European market as their regulatory and commercial partner,” said Philip Schetter, CEO of Cantourage Group SE.
Cantourage said it remains committed to systematically expanding its international network of EU-GMP-certified premium producers, citing what it called the combination of strong partnerships, regulatory expertise and an increasingly flexible supply chain.
The LOT420 certification follows the EU-GMP certification of another Canadian cultivation partner, Green Karat, which took effect on October 1, 2026 and was announced on October 13, 2026. Cantourage supported that process as sponsor and certification partner and is Green Karat’s exclusive distribution partner for the European Union and the United Kingdom. The company said it will be able to import finished products manufactured by Green Karat directly from Canada in accordance with EU-GMP standards, a step it said can help make products available to pharmacies across Europe sooner after harvest.
“Working with Cantourage on the EU-GMP certification process was therefore a natural next step. The certification creates the basis for bringing our products to patients in Europe more directly and quickly, and for continuing to grow our presence across Europe together,” said Jen-Frederick Nadeau, founder and CEO of Green Karat.
In the Green Karat announcement, Cantourage said it was already working with other leading international producers on certification processes expected to be completed by the end of 2026, and that it intends to further develop its role as a link between leading international cannabis producers and European markets.
