Klutch Cannabis Acquires Columbus Dispensary and Plans Akron Flagship

Klutch Cannabis announced on September 1, 2026, that the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control has approved its acquisition of the Grandview dispensary formerly operated by Culture Cannabis, giving the Akron-based company its second retail location in the Columbus market. The dispensary is located at 1305 Holly Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212, minutes from downtown Columbus and The Ohio State University campus. In the same announcement, the vertically integrated company said it is preparing to relocate its Tallmadge dispensary to a new flagship storefront in its hometown of Akron.

The Grandview store will carry Klutch’s full product line, including offerings from its Klutch Cannabis, Citizen by Klutch, and Habitat by Klutch brands, along with products from brand partners Cookies, Josh D, and Kiva Confections and a curated selection of products from other Ohio cannabis companies. Klutch holds Ohio-exclusive partnerships with Kiva Confections, Cookies, and Josh D, according to the company.

Grand Opening and Store Hours

Klutch Cannabis will celebrate the grand opening of the Grandview dispensary on Friday, September 11, 2026, with a special event featuring exclusive promotions, limited product releases, and other customer giveaways. Hours of operation for the new location will be 9:00 AM to 10:45 PM Thursday through Saturday and 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM Sunday through Wednesday.

“We have been incredibly humbled by the response we’ve received since opening our first Columbus dispensary just a few weeks ago, and we are excited to continue investing in one of Ohio’s fastest-growing cannabis markets,” said Klutch founder and CEO Adam Thomarios. He said the Grandview location allows the company to better serve customers throughout Central Ohio and welcomed Culture team members joining Klutch.

A company post published August 31, 2026, describes the Holly Avenue store as Klutch’s second Columbus dispensary, serving adult-use consumers 21 and older and registered Ohio medical marijuana patients. According to that post, the store’s menu includes premium flower, live resin and live rosin concentrates, vape cartridges and disposable vapes, gummies, chocolates and other edibles, tinctures, topicals, and accessories. The post describes the location as near Grandview Avenue, Grandview Yard, the 5th Avenue Corridor, Harrison West, the Arena District, the Short North Arts District, downtown Columbus, the Scioto Mile, The Ohio State University, and Goodale Park, and says the store offers online ordering.

Tallmadge Store Moving to Akron Flagship

Klutch is preparing for the relocation and grand reopening of its Tallmadge dispensary to the new Akron flagship, with more details to come in the following weeks. A company announcement dated August 13, 2026, states that the Klutch Express Tallmadge location will move to 1960 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44313, in the city’s Wallhaven area.

According to that announcement, the current Tallmadge Express store at 296 West Ave will remain open during the transition, continuing to serve Summit County customers while construction and preparations are underway at the West Market Street site. Klutch said the Tallmadge Express location was created as a convenient temporary home for its Akron-area customers and that the new store will be a larger, more complete retail environment for recreational customers 21 and older and Ohio medical marijuana patients. The company said it will share the final Tallmadge operating date, the Akron opening date, hours, and other store details closer to opening. The planned menu includes fresh flower, vapes, edibles, THC beverages, solventless and hydrocarbon concentrates, tinctures, and topicals.

Klutch’s current Ohio retail footprint, as listed on its website, includes dispensaries in Columbus, Canton, Cleveland, Lorain, Northfield, Tallmadge, and Wellington.

The Grandview acquisition follows Klutch’s entry into the Columbus market earlier this year. On June 4, 2026, the company announced that the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control had approved its acquisition of a Columbus dispensary license from Farkas Farms at 5429 Bethel Sawmill Center, Columbus, Ohio, while Klutch sold its dispensary in Loudonville, Ohio, to Farkas Farms. That store, Klutch’s first in Columbus, held its grand opening on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM, with the same operating hours planned for the Grandview location.
