Michigan Cannabis Regulator Unveils August Disciplinary And Denial Reports

The Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency published its August 2026 Disciplinary Action Report and a new Denied Application and Non-Renewed License Report on September 25, 2026, making final licensing denials, non-renewals, administrative formal complaints, and disciplinary actions taken against adult-use and medical licensees in August available for review, according to the agency’s announcement.
License Non-Renewals
The Denied Application and Non-Renewed License Report lists non-renewals for Grand Traverse Band Cannabis Company, LLC, doing business as Beach Fire Cannabis Company; T Rex 1 Corp., doing business as UBaked; and DNVK Lapeer, Inc., doing business as Consume Cannabis Lapeer.
Grand Traverse Band Cannabis Company held license AU-R-000929 at 6038 West Turtle Creek Drive, Suite B, in Williamsburg; the license was nonrenewed August 18, 2026, pursuant to MCL 333.27959(5) and Michigan Administrative Code Rule 420.13(2). T Rex 1 Corp. held license AU-P-000129 at 3245 Card Drive in Burton, nonrenewed August 14, 2026, under the same statutory and rule provisions. DNVK Lapeer, Inc. held license PC-000274 at 2401 West Genesee Street in Lapeer, nonrenewed August 22, 2026, pursuant to MCL 333.27402(9) and Rule 420.13(2). The agency’s announcement highlights the nonrenewal notices issued to T-Rex 1 Corp. and DNVK Lapeer.
Disciplinary Actions
The Disciplinary Action Report lists each action by enforcement record ID, entity name, license number, city, date mailed, disciplinary action imposed, and basis for action.
The report records the revocation of licenses held by GP Holdings L.L.C., doing business as Millie Montana Industries in Clare. Under enforcement records ENF-22-00412, ENF-22-00417, and ENF-22-00419, each mailed June 16, 2026, the agency imposed a fine and revocation covering licenses GR-C-000901 and GR-C-000906 through GR-C-000924. Bases listed across the records include general operational issues, surveillance and security, METRC non-compliance, failure to report material changes involving physical location or operations, non-compliant waste disposal, sampling and testing, and miscellaneous employee issues.
The remaining records impose fines, with some adding requirements to submit documents or other terms. In Detroit, Playa Kind LLC, doing business as King of Budz Provisioning, was fined on license AU-R-000936 in a record mailed August 7, 2026, for general operational issues, METRC non-compliance, and non-compliant sales. Records mailed August 20 fined West Coast Meds LLC on license AU-R-000919 for non-compliant sales and 413SD LLC on license AU-G-B-000255 for AFS non-compliance, with 413SD also required to submit documents.
Centerline Investments LLC, doing business as Mood Provisioning Center in Center Line, was fined on license AU-R-000756 under records ENF-25-00621 and ENF-25-00709, both mailed August 5, 2026, one citing METRC non-compliance and non-compliant sales and the other citing failure to report material changes involving the legal entity along with general operational issues.
FPAW Michigan LLC was fined on Morenci licenses AU-R-000125, operating as Ascend Cannabis Group, and PC-000318, operating as Michigan Supply and Provisions, Michigan Provisions, and Ascend Cannabis Group, in records mailed August 18 citing METRC non-compliance, miscellaneous reporting issues, and non-compliant waste disposal. Native Leaf LLC of Reading was fined on licenses AU-G-C-001151 and AU-P-000435 in records mailed August 20 for general operational issues and METRC non-compliance. JRJ Ventures I LLC, doing business as Dort Hwy Dispo in Burton, was fined on license AU-R-000263 in a record mailed August 25 for METRC non-compliance and packaging and advertising.
Other records mailed in the first half of August fined The Wellflower Ypsilanti LLC on license AU-R-000665, mailed August 5 for general operational issues and METRC non-compliance with documents required; JK Logix Inc. on license AU-ST-000104 in Lansing, mailed August 5 for failure to report material changes involving physical location or operations, with documents required; Frost Bite Management Inc., doing business as The Outpost Marquette, on license AU-R-000487, mailed August 10 for general operational issues, METRC non-compliance, non-compliant waste disposal, and surveillance and security, with documents required; Royalweb L.L.C., doing business as Only Alien in Kalamazoo, on license AU-MB-A-000012, mailed August 12 for AFS non-compliance, with documents required; and Ratcliffe Investments LLC, doing business as Blunt Force in Vassar, on license AU-G-C-001506, mailed August 7 for failure to report material changes involving physical location or operations and METRC non-compliance, with other terms imposed.
Records mailed later in August fined Reagan M522 LLC, doing business as Flowerbowl New Buffalo, on license AU-R-001324, mailed August 18 for failure to report material changes involving the legal entity and general operational issues; Refine New Buffalo Co. on license AU-R-001303, mailed August 19 for miscellaneous reporting issues; RQMI LLC, doing business as Oceana Gardens in Hesperia, on license AU-G-C-000443, mailed August 19 for failure to report material changes involving physical location or operations and surveillance and security; Great Lakes Holistics Kalamazoo Inc., doing business as GLH Kalamazoo, on license AU-R-001068, mailed August 25 for general operational issues and METRC non-compliance, with documents required; Zen Republic LLC, doing business as RKIVE in Adrian, on license AU-P-000220, mailed August 25 for failure to report material changes involving physical location or operations and general operational issues; and TC MI Ann Arbor 2 LLC, doing business as Weedys in Monroe, on license AU-R-000715, mailed August 25 for METRC non-compliance, with documents required.
The report also carries entries mailed in June. Lucky Buds II LLC was fined on license PR-000318 in Bay City in a record mailed June 2, 2026, for METRC non-compliance, miscellaneous reporting issues, and surveillance and security. Exclusive Brands LLC, doing business as Exclusive Ann Arbor, received a final order with no terms on license PR-000021 in a record mailed June 2, 2026, with the basis for action marked N/A.
The agency defines the report’s categories in a June 7, 2022 advisory bulletin, which states the DAR contains the entity name, license number, date issued, disciplinary action imposed, and basis for action. Under the bulletin’s definitions, METRC non-compliance covers incorrect inventory and product without METRC tags; non-compliant sales include overselling daily or monthly purchase limits and sales of product on administrative hold; and failure to report material changes involving the legal entity covers new owners, members, managers, and officers, as well as “any attempted transfer, sale, or other conveyance of an interest in a marijuana license.” The bulletin notes that its category descriptions “are not all-inclusive but are simply a means of interpreting the DAR report.”
Members of the public can view disciplinary documents through the CRA’s licensee database by selecting the license type, adult-use or medical, searching for the business, and opening the licensee’s record, where publicly available disciplinary documents are linked at the bottom, according to the announcement. Complaints may be submitted online, and the agency’s Citizens’ Guide to Filing a Complaint walks complainants through the process.
