Canopy Growth Rolls Out First Pastilles and All-in-One Vapes in Australia

Canopy Growth Corporation (CGC ) announced on September 8, 2026 that it is broadening its medical cannabis portfolio in Australia with two product formats new to the country, expanded oil and softgel formulations, and additional flower products. The rollout spans five of the Smiths Falls, Ontario-based company’s brands: Spectrum Therapeutics, Spectrum Therapeutics Reserve, 7ACRES, Tweed and Twd.
According to the company’s announcement, the pastille and all-in-one vape formats are the first of their kind Canopy Growth has offered in Australia. Both formats are available now, as are the expanded oil and softgel formulations.
New Formats and Formulations
The pastille line launches with four products: Tweed Red 10, Tweed Blue 10:10, Spectrum Triple Balance 10:10:10 and Spectrum Dawn 1:10:5. The all-in-one vape line launches with two 1 mL live resin products: the 7 ACRES Fondant Live Resin AIO Vape 1 mL, an indica, and the Spectrum Therapeutics Reserve Berea Live Resin AIO Vape 1 mL, a sativa.
Within its existing ranges, the company introduced Spectrum Flow and Spectrum Sunset, which it described as its first Australian oils to include CBG and CBN. The softgel range expanded beyond isolate-based formulations with the addition of Spectrum White 50 and Spectrum Black 10. The company also added two flower SKUs under its Twd. value range.
Andrew Bevan, Canopy Growth’s president of medical, tied the additions to demand in the Australian market. “Prescribers and patients in Australia are asking for more choice in format and formulation,” Bevan said. “These launches give clinicians more options to tailor treatment approaches, while our new pastille and oil offerings reflect formulation work shaped by insights from our Canadian clinic and provider network.”
Chief Executive Officer Luc Mongeau framed the expansion in terms of the company’s international medical strategy. “Expanding our product offering in established markets like Australia is central to our international medical strategy,” Mongeau said. “These new formats and formulations reflect the continued strength of our global supply chain and our ability to evolve our existing portfolio while bringing a broader range of high-quality products to international markets.”
Prior Australia Launches and International Medical Results
The additions build on an earlier Australian expansion the company disclosed in its fiscal 2026 results release on June 15, 2026. During that fiscal year, which ended March 31, 2026, Canopy Growth expanded its medical cannabis offering in Australia with two high-THC sativa 7ACRES strains, Ultra Jack and Jack Frost, and with Spectrum Therapeutics softgel capsules in cannabidiol (CBD), THC and balanced formats. The same release said the company launched Spectrum Reserve, a premium medical cannabis brand featuring flower selected for size, potency and terpene levels under in-house standards applied during cultivation and post-harvest processing.
In that release, the company reported international markets cannabis net revenue of $8.6 million for the three months ended March 31, 2026, an increase of 68% over the same period a year earlier, which it attributed to progress addressing supply chain challenges in Europe experienced earlier in the fiscal year. For the full fiscal year, international markets cannabis net revenue decreased 7% compared with fiscal 2025. All figures are reported in Canadian dollars.
More recently, in first-quarter fiscal 2027 results reported on August 7, 2026, the company said international markets cannabis net revenue reached $9.6 million for the three months ended June 30, 2026, up 10% year over year, primarily due to strength in Europe, specifically Poland. Consolidated net revenue for the quarter was $81.2 million, up 13%, and Canada medical cannabis net revenue was $25.8 million, up 22%.
The August results also detailed further medical-market activity outside Australia. The company relaunched the Tweed brand in the German medical cannabis market, citing MTL Cannabis’ premium genetics and flower production capacity, and Spectrum Therapeutics introduced new 30- and 90-pack softgel formats with enhanced dosing options. Canopy Growth completed its acquisition of MTL Cannabis during fiscal 2026, a transaction the company said made it Canada’s leading medical cannabis company by revenue.
In the fiscal 2026 release, Mongeau said the company was well positioned to extend its Canadian medical leadership into Europe, describing it as a market the company believes represents enormous long-term opportunity.
