Fine Fettle to Open Tenth Connecticut Dispensary in North Haven

Fine Fettle will open its tenth Connecticut dispensary on Oct. 23, 2026, an adult-use recreational store at 104 Washington Avenue in North Haven, the company announced on Oct. 22, 2026. The store opens at 9:00 a.m.
The North Haven location is Fine Fettle’s first in the North Haven area and will provide cannabis products to customers throughout New Haven County. Store hours will run from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. The company’s North Haven location page lists the same address and hours.
“This is the first Fine Fettle in North Haven and the Greater New Haven area, which allows us to reach even more people than before in the state. Access is key, and we are excited to grow that in our home state,” Benjamin Zachs, the company’s chief operating officer, said in the announcement.
Zachs said the store’s staff will provide personalized guidance to help customers find products that best suit their needs, whether they are exploring cannabis for wellness, recreation, or medical impact. He described the new location as ideal for continuing to offer education, connections, and positive change within Connecticut’s cannabis landscape. The company said its retail teams are consistently trained to help customers better understand cannabis and make informed decisions, and that the North Haven team will answer questions and help customers explore products based on their individual needs and preferences.
Grand Opening Celebration Set for Oct. 30
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with local community leaders, Fine Fettle team members, and industry advocates, according to the announcement. Planned festivities include vendor appearances showcasing Connecticut-based cannabis brands alongside the company’s house brands, comffy and AURA, as well as swag giveaways.
Fine Fettle’s Eventbrite listing for the celebration sets the event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and restates the Oct. 23 opening date. Customers who shop during grand-opening weekend will unlock a lifetime discount at the North Haven store, the listing states, and limited-edition Fine Fettle t-shirts will be available while supplies last. The listing notes the date is subject to change.
Seventh Equity Joint Venture
The North Haven dispensary is Fine Fettle’s seventh Equity Joint Venture. The company describes its equity joint ventures as supporting diverse ownership and partnership between Fine Fettle and its social equity entrepreneurs, and it says its ownership, philanthropy, and volunteerism prioritize social equity benefiting individuals and communities most affected by the War on Drugs.
The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection licenses and regulates medical and adult-use cannabis establishments in the state, and the department is currently accepting Equity Joint Venture applications, according to its cannabis licensing page, dated Aug. 27, 2026. The department defines a Retailer license as one selling cannabis only to consumers for adult use and a Hybrid Retailer as one selling both to adult-use consumers and to qualifying patients and caregivers for medical use. No additional medical-only Dispensary Facility licenses will be issued at this time, the department states. Separately, the department’s where-to-buy guidance states that retail sales have started at licensed retailers and shows retailers licensed to be open to sell cannabis to adults in Connecticut.
The announcement lists Fine Fettle’s ten Connecticut dispensaries as Bristol, Manchester, Newington, Norwalk, Old Saybrook, Stamford, Willimantic, Waterbury, West Hartford, and now North Haven, with cultivation and manufacturing in Bloomfield. The company’s Connecticut page listed nine operating dispensaries ahead of the opening, with addresses and hours for each, and carried a notice that North Haven was coming in October 2026. Beyond Connecticut, the page lists Fine Fettle locations in Rowley and West Springfield, Massachusetts, and medical dispensaries in Evans, Athens, Decatur, Smyrna, and Macon, Georgia.
The North Haven store offers in-store shopping, express online ordering, recreational products, and loyalty rewards, with delivery available, according to the location page. The page lists delivery to North Haven, Wallingford, Northford, Hamden, New Haven, Cheshire, Prospect, Bethany, East Haven, Branford, West Haven, Westville, Woodbridge, Orange, and Meriden.
Fine Fettle describes its product range as including locally-sourced flower, solventless concentrates, and terpene-rich edibles. “Fine Fettle continues to add locations and product offerings to meet customer demands, with more coming later this month,” Zachs said. “They will be joining our House of Brands that includes AURA and comffy.”
