STIIIZY Reaches 65 California Stores With Four More Planned

Cannabis company STIIIZY said in its October 13, 2026, announcement that its retail footprint in California has reached 65 stores statewide, with seven new locations opened since August and four additional stores scheduled to open by the end of 2026.
The company, which described itself as the best-selling cannabis brand, characterized the expansion as doubling down on California and said the momentum reflects its commitment to the state where it was founded nearly a decade ago.
The seven stores opened since the start of August are in San Jose, which opened August 1; Hanford, August 8; Stockton, September 5; Vallejo, September 12; Seaside, September 19; and Riverside, where two locations opened on October 2 and October 7.
Four more stores are scheduled to open by the end of 2026, in Bell Gardens, Moreno Valley, Hemet, and Los Angeles’ Eagle Rock neighborhood. The announcement did not give individual opening dates for those four locations.
“California remains central to our growth and evolution,” Tak Sato, president of STIIIZY, said in the announcement. “As access to legal cannabis continues to grow, our focus is on reaching more consumers while delivering the quality and consistency our customers expect.”
The company said it ranks among the top five across all product categories in California and accounts for one in four vapes sold in the state. As it scales, the company said, it routinely refines its quality-control practices and testing protocols.
Marketing Beyond the Dispensary
STIIIZY said its retail strategy extends beyond the dispensary, an effort it described as building brand loyalty. Through partnerships with major music festivals and entertainment platforms, including Insomniac and Rolling Loud, the brand appears in the cultural spaces where its consumers already congregate, according to the announcement.
At September’s Nocturnal Wonderland festival, STIIIZY reported strong engagement, with lines wrapping around its booth. Interactive activities, including designing customizable keychains and luggage tags, were particularly popular and gave guests an opportunity to create personalized mementos, the company said.
The company said it remains focused on the fundamentals that have fueled its growth since the beginning: expanding its retail presence, raising product standards, and building lasting relationships with consumers across California and beyond.
Earlier 2026 Milestone
The October announcement follows an April 15, 2026, release in which STIIIZY, then describing itself as the leading U.S. cannabis brand, said it had reached 65 stores nationwide, comprising 62 locations in California and three in Michigan.
At that time, the company cited recent openings in Sacramento, National City, and Covina, with additional locations in Lake Elsinore and Concord expected in the coming months. STIIIZY was also integrating 12 Gold Flora locations, further expanding its retail footprint following that acquisition.
The April release, issued ahead of the April 20 cannabis retail holiday, described 4/20 as the highest-volume sales day of the year and said the company was positioned to capture increased consumer demand. It described California as the largest legal cannabis market in America, generating more than $300 million in sales each month.
“Our scale allows us to meet customers wherever they are, especially at a moment like 4/20 when demand peaks,” Sato said in April. “We’ve built a system where product, pricing, and experience are aligned. That consistency is what keeps customers coming back.”
According to the April release, each STIIIZY location follows standardized protocols that ensure a uniform experience across markets, with stores designed to serve both new and experienced consumers through clear product education, intuitive layouts, and strong visual merchandising. It credited the company’s vertically integrated model, operational discipline, and brand recognition with positioning STIIIZY for continued growth.
Sato said in April that the Gold Flora acquisition reinforced the company’s strategy to expand access while enhancing the customer experience, adding that STIIIZY expected to add at least five more stores by the end of the year.
