Khalifa Kush Enters New York Through Skyworld Cannabis Partnership

Khalifa Kush, the premium cannabis, accessories, and apparel brand founded by recording artist Wiz Khalifa, announced on October 14, 2026 that it will enter New York through a partnership with Skyworld Cannabis, a New York-based cultivator and distributor. The company said New York will be the brand’s 14th U.S. market, with Khalifa Kush products scheduled to reach consumers beginning October 31, 2026.
Under the partnership, Skyworld Cannabis will serve as Khalifa Kush’s New York cultivation and distribution partner, supplying the brand’s products to licensed dispensary partners across the state. The company said Khalifa Kush will initially be available at seven locations across New York City and an additional 29 dispensaries throughout Upstate New York and Long Island, with further distribution to follow. The announcement describes the rollout as a launch at 36 dispensaries across the state.
The launch will feature two Khalifa Kush strains, KK and Violet Sky, available in flower and pre-roll formats, with additional strains and formats planned to follow. The company said the brand is currently available in 13 markets in the U.S. and described the New York entry as one of its most anticipated U.S. market launches to date, adding that it spent years building toward entry into the state and that demand from the brand’s fans there has remained strong. The release identifies Wiz Khalifa as a multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY and Golden Globe nominated recording artist.
“New York has been asking for Khalifa Kush for a long time, so it means a lot to finally bring our signature strain, among others, to one of the cities I’ve spent so much time in,” said Wiz Khalifa, founder of Khalifa Kush. He said he is eager for fans across the state to finally be able to walk into a dispensary and experience Khalifa Kush for themselves.
The company characterized the New York cannabis market as evolving quickly, with what it described as a flower-forward and savvy consumer base, and said the brand is well positioned to enter one of the fastest-growing markets in the country, citing an established reputation built around consistency and cultivation expertise.
“In music, sports, and business, timing is everything. We couldn’t have scripted this story better if we tried,” said Alex Anderson, CEO of Skyworld Cannabis. Anderson said New York is primed for the brand, thanked the Khalifa Kush team, and called it a true blessing to be a small part of the launch.
The company directs consumers to khalifakush.com and its Instagram account, @khalifakush, to find New York dispensaries carrying its products.
Skyworld Cannabis
Skyworld Cannabis is identified on its official website as a New York licensed cultivator of premium indoor cannabis. The website’s listed product lineup includes 3.5-gram indoor flower, single pre-rolls, 0.5-gram pre-roll multi-packs, and infused hash holes. The site also highlights prior collaborations, including a partnership with Carmelo Anthony to launch the STAYME7O Hall of Flame product, a collaboration with Last Prisoner Project, and a team-up with PICC on hash holes.
Prior International Expansion
The New York entry follows Khalifa Kush’s June 16, 2026 announcement of its expansion into Australia’s medical cannabis market, which the company described as its sixth global market. That launch was structured as a partnership with cannabis company Endoca and covered an initial portfolio of premium flower and edible products, with distribution to pharmacies and clinics nationally across all Australian states and territories. The company said Australia represents a key milestone in its global growth strategy, citing a rapidly expanding medical cannabis market, a stable and mature regulatory framework, and strong local demand driven in part by Wiz Khalifa’s established fanbase. Khalifa Kush CEO DJ Saul said Australia’s well-regulated market and patient-focused approach aligned with the brand’s values, and that the company was not entering every market but was entering the right ones. Saul described Endoca as a partner that could help maintain brand integrity and deliver the quality patients and consumers expect from the brand.
